3-Steps to Trenchless Pipe Lining

Video Inspection

We begin all pipe lining projects with a detailed forensic study of the existing pipe system by means of a HD video camera inspection. A digital copy of the video is yours to keep.

Sewer Pipe Cleaning

The sewer system is cleaned using hydro (water) jetting and/or a mechanical cleaning process that removes scale, buildup, debris, blockages and restores flow in the existing pipes.

Lining & Reinstatement

Your cleaned pipes are lined with an epoxy saturated tube (liner). The tube hardens and the new structural line becomes stronger than PVC. A robotic tool is then used to reopen branch lines.

Trenchless Pipe Lining and Sewer Repair Company Serving Wellington, Florida

Sewer lines will eventually have problems. Here in Wellington, the equestrian capital of America, where many of the homes were built 15-20+ years ago, those sewer pipes may be reaching the end of their natural lifespan. Given the large rainfalls, drainage systems in our area need to be properly maintained in order to perform as intended. Other considerations include tree root intrusion, unstable ground, shifting of connections due to high winds, and more.

Traditionally, replacing a sewer pipe is laborious work that requires digging trenches through your foundation, floors, and landscape. It likely means tearing out large portions of walls, finishes, and cabinetry. The water must be shut off for extended times and the entire process takes several weeks to months to complete before the chore of restoring your property can begin.

Using an award-winning European system known as “trenchless pipe lining,” Pipelining Technologies is able to offer a minimally invasive approach to sewer pipe repair in Wellington. This high-tech service takes days, not weeks, and requires minimal water shut off. Our customers tell us they save 30%-40% over conventional pipe replacement! About Our Wellington Sewer Pipe Repair Services

Trenchless pipe lining has been trusted since the 1970s. While the materials and equipment have become even more technologically advanced, the ease of use and dependability has remained world-renowned. Pipelining Technologies is proud to have introduced South Florida to CIPP (Cured-in-Place Pipe) more than 15 years ago. To date, we’ve lined dozens of miles worth of cast iron and other drainage pipes.

Pipe lining involves inserting an epoxy-saturated tube within the existing faulty pipe. Once it has hardened (cured), it completely seals off the old pipe and becomes an essentially new pipe. The lining is structurally sound and has a 50-year life-use expectancy. The result is smoother than many other piping materials, which could mean enhanced flow for your sewer lines.

Trenchless pipe lining avoids the need to demo your property. We do not dig trenches and jeopardize the integrity of your foundation or landscape or tear out your cabinets or walls to get to the piping. We complete the process from small access points and existing areas such as your outside cleanout and your toilet lines.
Trenchless pipe lining is:

  • Fast – Service generally takes a few days with minimal water shutoff, so no need to relocate during the repair.
  • Convenient – Your home and landscape will be nearly intact upon completion.
  • Effective – 50-year life-use expectancy.
  • Structural – Pipe lining creates a rigid structure built to last.
  • Cost-Saving – Our advanced technology actually saves our customers 30%-40% over conventional pipe replacement and reconstruction costs

Trenchless pipe lining is ideal for almost every type of pipe including cast iron, PVC, steel, copper, and clay. It works on lateral, vertical, connections (joints), and branch lines.
In addition, we use innovative sewer inspection and assessment tools to diagnose leaks, stoppages, and damage. Our video camera crews can detect issues such as blockages, cracks, channeling, collapse, decay, scaling, root intrusion, and other deficits.
We offer:

  • High Definition, Full Color, Diagnostic Video Inspection
  • Sewer Gas Leak Vapor Testing
  • Total Home Drainage System Cleaning and Descaling
  • Pipe Lining with Robotic Reinstatements
Our experienced team will utilize the most advanced technology to assess and solve your pipe problems. We’ll keep you informed through digital (contactless) communication and provide efficient service with minimal impact on your property. FAQs

What makes trenchless sewer repair better than traditional sewer repair methods?

Trenchless sewer repair eliminates the need for large-scale destruction of floors and landscaped areas to conventionally replace the damaged pipes, the costs associated with replacing those surfaces, and limits the exposure to health and environmental risks created by major sewer excavations.

When is the city responsible for sewer lines and sewer backups?

Individual municipalities have varying rules regarding the line where private property (including underground drainage) becomes public property. Generally, your private sewer main, or lateral, becomes the responsibility of the city at the tap to the city sewer. Blockages and backups in the city sewer system can cause backups on private property, so identifying the location of the blockage is very important as it relates to responsibility.

How long does it usually take to do a trenchless sewer repair job?

In residential homes, a good rule of thumb is “one liner per day.” For example, if your home has a building main, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a laundry, that is five individual liners, hence five days of work. On large-scale commercial or high-rise condominium projects, more aggressive timelines are typical, with anywhere from two to four liner installations a day.

Is there a warranty on the work that is done and the materials?

Pipelining Technologies offers a full five (5) year parts AND labor warranty on every pipe lining job. This is four years more than a conventional Plumber’s one-year warranty and pipe lining carries a transferrable minimum fifty (50) year life-use expectancy.

Would we have to leave the home or business while the work is being done?

No. Pipelining Technologies works to stagger brief water shutoffs in a way that residential customers will have some facilities to use each day of the project. Since pipe lining can be performed in a much shorter timeframe than pipe replacement, there are typically only a few days of slight inconvenience in comparison to several weeks of water shut off with conventional pipe replacement.

Does trenchless sewer repair work on tall buildings such as apartments or condominiums?

Lining of vertical stacks in high-rise buildings is amongst the most cost effective and time saving applications of trenchless pipe lining, also known as CIPP, cured-in-place pipe. Conventional replacement of a vertical stack on a building of significant height can take weeks, even months to complete, and the residents are without water to the affected facilities for the entire time. Pipe lining can accomplish the same job in two days by lining from the roof continuously to the underground with little to no need to enter individual units.
