3-Steps to Trenchless Pipe Lining
We begin all pipe lining projects with a detailed forensic study of the existing pipe system by means of a HD video camera inspection. A digital copy of the video is yours to keep.
Sewer Pipe Cleaning
The sewer system is cleaned using hydro (water) jetting and/or a mechanical cleaning process that removes scale, buildup, debris, blockages and restores flow in the existing pipes.
Lining & Reinstatement
Your cleaned pipes are lined with an epoxy saturated tube (liner). The tube hardens and the new structural line becomes stronger than PVC. A robotic tool is then used to reopen branch lines.

As your sewer pipe nears the end of its lifespan, there may be certain signs that it is time for repairs. These early warnings let you know there is a problem before it gets worse and you find yourself dealing with backups, mold, and sewer gas smell in and around your home.
Signs of sewer pipe leaks or damage can include:
- Water Draining Slowly
- Cracks in the Building’s Foundation
- Exceptionally Green or Fast Growing Grass Patches
- Sinkholes in Your Yard
- Unexplained Rodents or Insects
If you suspect your sewer pipes might need repair, Pipelining Technologies, Inc. offers high-definition video camera inspections to determine deficits. We use the most up to date techniques like vapor testing, full-color video, and more, to precisely identify problem areas.
Why Choose Us for Trenchless Pipe Lining?
For sewer pipe repair, trenchless pipe lining is the best method available. With this process, we insert an epoxy saturated tube (liner) into the existing sewer pipe. When the tube is inflated, it hardens to form an essentially new pipe within the old pipe. The liner is strong, with a hardness comparable to PVC. Pur pipe lining has a 50-year life use expectancy and may have a better flow than your previous pipe.
Traditional methods of sewer pipe repair involved digging large trenches throughout your property to access your pipe, including tunneling into a building’s foundation. In addition, in order to access the areas needing repairs, it can be necessary to remove home finishes such as portions of walls and floors, cabinets, and more.
Trenchless pipe lining offers several benefits over the traditional method because it is:
Cost-Effective – This method is non-destructive, minimally-invasive, reaching pipes through existing areas such as toilets and small access points, meaning no costly repairs to replace floors, walls, and home finishings.
Safer – Since no sewer pipes are removed, we avoid releasing harmful bacteria, dust, and chemicals into the air as is possible during sewer excavations.
Convenient – Because trenchless pipe lining is much faster, there are no long term water shutoffs or need to relocate for extended periods during the repair process.
Trenchless pipe lining works with almost any sewer system and pipe material, including cast iron, clay, PVC, and orangeburg pipes. Vertical, horizontal, branched, and bent pipes are all able to be repaired with cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), which works for pipe in almost any stage of disrepair.
