3-Steps to Trenchless Pipe Lining
We begin all pipe lining projects with a detailed forensic study of the existing pipe system by means of a HD video camera inspection. A digital copy of the video is yours to keep.
Sewer Pipe Cleaning
The sewer system is cleaned using hydro (water) jetting and/or a mechanical cleaning process that removes scale, buildup, debris, blockages and restores flow in the existing pipes.
Lining & Reinstatement
Your cleaned pipes are lined with an epoxy saturated tube (liner). The tube hardens and the new structural line becomes stronger than PVC. A robotic tool is then used to reopen branch lines.

Originating in Europe more than 50 years ago, trenchless pipe lining, also known as cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), was first brought to South Florida by Pipelining Technologies at the turn of the Millenium. Their team actually studied and became certified in Europe – ensuring that the highest standards and finest equipment would be utilized on every job – including yours!
With conventional pipe repair, accessing the pipe involves demolishing anything in the way – including your foundation, walls, kitchen cabinets, bathrooms, flooring, patios, and more.
But trenchless pipe lining is different. With this process, we first inspect the system (no digging needed) to identify issues such as tree root intrusion, channeling, cracks, scaling, fat/solids buildup, and more. You receive a copy of the video inspection along with a report of our findings.
Following the inspection, a complete cleaning and descaling of the pipelines is conducted. We use both mechanical (dry) methods and hydro methods, depending upon your specific needs. The cleaning will help restore the full diameter of the lines and most customers notice an immediate increase in flow efficiency.
The third step is structural pipe lining. We insert a flexible, epoxy-saturated liner directly into the existing pipeline and continue to install it throughout the entire system. The liners can navigate through vertical or lateral lines, around plumbing bends, and branchlines. When the liner cures, it becomes structural and has an expectancy of 50+ years of use!
Trenchless pipe lining offers many benefits over the old fashioned methods of sewer pipe repair. Because we don’t need to remove the damaged pipes, we do not have to jeopardize your foundation by digging trenches or dangerous tunneling under the building. Water shutoffs are brief, whereas with conventional repair, they can last weeks while pipe replacement is underway. A health benefit of pipe lining is that the release of particles from harvested sewer pipe (with traditional repair/replacement) is drastically reduced or eliminated. Perhaps the greatest benefit to choosing pipe lining is that you are not faced with the huge restoration of foundation, flooring, walls, and home finishes once the pipes are fixed. This feature alone saves our customers a tremendous amount of time and money.
The innovative flexibility of trenchless pipe lining means that it generally works with all sewer pipes regardless of their location, layout, or material. We service most building types including single-family, multi-family, condo, and commercial properties and sewer pipes that are lateral, vertical, branched, or bent.
